Identifying Similarities and Differences

The MCREL has proved that this instructional strategy is the most effective strategy for improving student learning. It requires studetns to practice, review and apply learning with high level thinking skills and thus supporting students understanding of the content.

The following presentation was used in February of 2010 at our district staff development training. Teachers were required to read the chapter on similarities and differences from our book, "Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works" and practice the strategies embedded in this PowerPoint.

The presentation is available below for your review and as a resource for some of the examples. Please see Mary if you have any questions.
